A special minor restricted license is an optional step available through the Iowa DOT that allows you to drive independently to school or work with some restrictions.

• Driver Education is offered at Knoxville High School through Triple ‘R’ Driving School. The Summer will have two classroom sessions online that are self paced. Session one will begin Sunday June 7, 2026 and session two will begin Sunday August 2, 2026! 
• Students will need a strong internet connection at home and access to a computer with a working camera and speaker in order to participate in the Zoom class. If you would like to sign up, please email the registration form to triplerdrivingschool@gmail.com.
